The coolest thing about my job is: working with Elvis Presley every day.
Enough said.
My favorite locally-made product is: the bread at Sweet Grass. It's made in house and I crave it on a daily basis.
The perfect Memphis date would be: dinner and drinks at Itta Bena, followed by a Grizzlies game and then either dancing on Beale or dessert at Molly Fontaine's.
I’m working on: discovering places in Memphis I’ve never been and re-visiting my
favorites as much as I can. I’m also working on reading more books!
If a first-timer was coming to Graceland, I would tell them to: take lots of pictures, don’t miss Elvis’ airplanes and car museum and don’t forget to sign the wall!
The biggest misconception about Memphis is: It’s not one of the worst cities in
the country to live… if it was, I wouldn’t be living here!
My favorite annual Memphis event is: It’s a tie between Memphis in May BBQ fest and the Regions Morgan Keegan Tennis Tournament. Don't make me choose!
Something people don’t know about Elvis is: that Elvis was a twin. His twin brother, Jessie Garon, was stillborn, leaving Elvis to grow up as an only child.
I love Memphis because: Memphis is the biggest, small town you will ever
encounter. I love Memphis not only because its home, but also because it has so
many components that make it an eclectic city with a Southern twist.
