Though the mayoral race is long over and Mongo lost (again), his bright blue and orange stickers are still posted all over the city.

Mongo, aka, Prince Mongo, aka, Robert Hodges, is a Memphian (and occasional Floridian) who claims to be an alien from the planet Zambodia. He's an eccentric local legend. He's owned a string of night clubs, got in some trouble for his East Memphis lawn decorations, and occasionally takes to the downtown streets in a loincloth. Despite running for mayor in every election since 1991, he's never come close to winning.
