In other news:

- If you're looking for a place to watch the world cup, you're in luck - a few bars around Memphis will be showing the games. Try South of Beale, the 1884 Lounge at Minglewood Hall, TGIFriday's at Wolfchase or Celtic Crossing. If you know of anywhere else showing the games, leave it in the comments.

- Memphis Roller Derby's all star team, the Hustlin' Rollers, are headed to Nashville this weekend for the Honky Tonk Stomp (the Tennessee state championships). They'll play Nashville and Knoxville's all star teams tomorrow. Whoop that trick!

Dan McGuiness near Spottswood (in the shopping center with Target and Pottery Barn Outlet) was showing it as well - at least the US-England game. Not that crowded, lots of TV's.
