I love it when bathroom graffiti is more art than random text. This is in the ladies' at Otherlands. It says "The cake is a lie" on one side, and "the cake is a pie" on the other.
In other news:
- Skatelife Memphis still needs your votes in order to win the Pepsi grant. Only the top 2 projects will win $250,000 grants. Right now, Skatelife is at #15. Go and vote daily until April 30.
- I forgot to mention in the "Things to Do This Weekend" that the annual Crawfish Festival is happening on Saturday in Overton Square from noon - 6 p.m. Grab your family, come eat some crawfish and check out an impressive roster of local bands (including Snowglobe, Star and Micey and Jack O. and the Tennessee Tearjerkers).
- My favorite local food review site, Mark's Menus, has a brand new look. It's pretty sweet (and makes the site a bit easier to use). Go test it out by leaving some comments on your favorite dishes and restaurants.
