In other news:

- It's time to nominate your favorite local businesses and services for the Commercial Appeal's annual Memphis Most. You can nominate your favorite restaurants, shops, services, and media. Sadly, you can't nominate your favorite blogger. Maybe next year?

- Get your tuxes and ball gowns ready, Memphis. The Memphis Gay and Lesbian Community Center is having a "prom for all" on June 5th. Everyone from 18 - 80 is welcome to attend with the date of their choosing. It will be held at the Doubletree Hotel downtown. Tickets go on sale at MGLCC on April 27th.

- I'm sad to mention that Midtown wine bar Le Chardonnay will close in the next few weeks. After a bit of remodeling, it will re-open as a moderately priced Italian restaurant. While I'll miss the huge wine selection, the pizzas and the excellent dirty martinis, it's the people watching that I'll miss the most.
