Happy day after Thanksgiving, y’all. If you’re like me, you’re sick of being in your kitchen. Maybe you need a break from your family, or something do with your family members that are visiting Memphis. You need options. You’ve come to the right place.
1. Starry Nights, Shelby Farms Park, 6 – 10 p.m., $20 per [...]
Go on a ghost tour of the most haunted house in Victorian Village and listen to the stories of people who have had personal interactions with the home’s spirit residents. There will be appetizers and drinks available in the carriage house. After, head over to Mollie Fontaine’s Lounge for drinks and dinner.
The Germantown Performing Arts Center is veering from its usual format on Saturday night for Rocktoberfest. It’s going to be a fantastic night for Memphis music (and a rare opportunity to see Al Kapone and Harlan T. Bobo at the same show). Ryan Peel and the amazingly cute pop band Two Way Radio are also playing. So, for $35, you’ll get to see four amazing local bands, one DJ, and enjoy an open bar.
No ado this week, just the shortlist of the coolest things happening in Memphis this weekend. Ready? Go!
