If you’re into obscure Midtown Memphis watering holes, I highly recommend the Cove. They pride themselves on serving classic, handmade cocktails (think whiskey sours made with real lemon juice, gimlets, sidecars and Sazeracs).

The last of the old Anderton’s Restaurant facade on Madison was demolished today. When I stopped by, several members of Memphis Heritage were there, gathering up some of the more beautiful bits of the old building.

Go on a ghost tour of the most haunted house in Victorian Village and listen to the stories of people who have had personal interactions with the home’s spirit residents. There will be appetizers and drinks available in the carriage house. After, head over to Mollie Fontaine’s Lounge for drinks and dinner.
