Pouncer the Tiger, the University of Memphis mascot, came up to section 209 at the FedEx Forum during Memphis’s game against Southeastern Missouri State University.
Thank you to the nice guy who snapped the picture for me!
(By the way, the Tigers trounced SEMU, 87 – 57.)
If you’re into obscure Midtown Memphis watering holes, I highly recommend the Cove. They pride themselves on serving classic, handmade cocktails (think whiskey sours made with real lemon juice, gimlets, sidecars and Sazeracs).
The cool kids at Live From Memphis have been doing a series on people in Memphis that do cool things called “60 Seconds“. They’ve featured bands, dancers, rappers, and anyone that’s got something to say. They were kind enough to let me stop by their office and shoot my own “60 Seconds” video this afternoon.
