Memphis artist Rick Barnard brings his “Visions of Nature” exhibit to KROC Memphis with an opening reception 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 5, 2018.

Hosted by The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, this exhibition of photographic prints includes images from the American West, Iceland and Canada’s Rocky Mountains.

Rick is passionate about photography “because it enables me to portray the world as I see it. Photography is an interpretative art. My photos reflect my vision of a flower, an individual or a mountain stream. With my camera, I can slow the tides, darken the skies or capture a special moment in the eyes of a child. I hope my photographs inspire others to pause for reflection and view the world around us in new ways.”

To see some of his most compelling work, enjoy “Visions of Nature” from Jan. 4th to March 5th at the KROC, 800 E. Parkway South, Memphis, TN 38104.
