Celtic Crossing is hosting four full days of St. Patrick’s Day festivities that you don’t want to miss.
Thursday, March 14:
A whiskey tasting held in conjunction with Destination: Delicious will kick off Celtic’s St. Patrick’s Day festivities on Thursday from 6:30-9:30 p.m. With tickets ranging from $45-$70, guests can sample 40 whiskeys at an event held inside a tent behind the pub. A sommelier from Ireland will be on hand to answer questions and share whiskey wisdom with ticket holders. Cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres will be served as well. Friday, March 15:
Irish musician Ricko Donovan will play from 6 to 9 p.m. on the patio.
Saturday, March 16:
A special brunch menu will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by a special dinner menu until 11 p.m. Live music on the patio begins at 11 a.m. and concludes at 11 p.m.
Saturday, March 17:
For a $10 early bird cover beginning at noon and a $15 cover beginning at 4 p.m., guests will have access to all areas of the St. Patrick’s Day celebration. The pub opens early at 9 a.m. to accommodate for the early start time of soccer, with a special brunch menu available until 2 p.m. Live music starts at 10:30 a.m. in the tent located behind the pub and at 11 a.m. on the patio. DJ Tree takes over on the turntables at 5 p.m. Guests can enjoy free swag, face painting, bagpipers, Irish dancers and leprechauns all day. At 1 p.m., the Fourth Annual Cooper-Young St. Patrick’s Day Parade hosted by the Memphis Irish Society will begin at Memphis Made Brewing Company and ends at corner of Cooper and Walker Street. Parade floats, cars, bands and marchers will stop briefly to be introduced in front of Celtic.
