One of the biggest names in classical music – violin virtuoso Midori – returns to join IRIS Orchestra in a spectacular celebration of the centennial of legendary composer Leonard Bernstein (1918-1990), regarded as a singular figure in American cultural history. This concert features an innovative, percussion-driven arrangement of Hawaiian chant and is highlighted by a performance from Midori, one of the legendary violinists of this generation. This is an evening that’s sure to be high-spirited, captivating, and moving.
