The Art Gallery at St. George’s Episcopal Church will host an exhibit by the Memphis Chapter of the Embroiderer’s Guild of America from Dec. 3 to 31. A reception for the needlework artists will be held on Dec. 7 from 6-8 pm. The exhibit will include a variety of types of stitching including embroidery, cross stitch, needlepoint, hardanger, smocking, quilting, beading, stumpwork, pulled work, appliqué, crewel and punchwork. The group meets every month to stitch, learn and share their love of needlework, at St. George’s Episcopal Church on the 2nd Saturday morning of each month. Guests are always welcome. Gallery hours are Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 am to 4 pm with entrance through the church office and Sundays from 9 am to 12:30 pm.
