Eye Spy: A Day at the ZooApril 19, 9:00 am-June 1, 4:00 pm
Southern College of Optometry partners with the Memphis Zoo to present “Eye Spy: A Day at the Zoo” each year.
This family-friendly event is free and features a number of different stations located throughout the zoo with activities and games designed to provide children with more information about how their eyes work, such as night vision, 3-D, children’s eye care and how animals’ eyes work. With this event, we hope to educate children and parents about eye and vision health.
Southern College of Optometry is a proud nonprofit service provider, serving well over 50,000 patients and providing over $1.6 million dollars of charitable care to Mid-South families each year.
The event is free with the cost of regular zoo admission. This community outreach event is designed to partner with the Memphis Zoo to share information about eye and vision health.
