Drink A Beer, Save A River – Celebrate World Water Day!March 22, 2017, 5:00 pm-8:00 pm
Join us for the first Drink A Beer, Save A River series at the Ghost River Tap Room on Wednesday, March 22nd from 5-8 pm.
In 1993, the United Nations General Assembly officially designated March 22 as World Water Day.World Water Day is about taking action to tackle the water crisis both locally and internationally. Here in Memphis, we are very lucky to have some of the cleanest, affordable and easily accessible water in the world, due to our sands aquifer. The Wolf River Conservancy’s primary mission is to protect our precious water, land and wildlife in the Wolf River watershed.
We will be celebrating World Water Day by showcasing some opportunities to for you to get involved with sustainable and environmental organizations in the Memphis area! Representatives from various nonprofits will be available to share more about what they are doing in the community and how you can get involved.
Come out, enjoy some Ghost River Beer and let’s raise our glasses to celebrate World Water Day!
