365 Things to Do in Memphis #242: Rock for Love

From 2006 until 2017, the Church Health Center hosted an annual benefit called Rock For Love. It grew from a single concert to a full-on, four-day-long music festival featuring some of the best bands in Memphis.

As of September, I haven’t heard any information about the event happening in 2018. I’ll be sure to update this post if I do hear anything. In the meantime, I’ll leave this here for posterity/informational purposes.

Assignment #242 in the 365 Things to Do in Memphis is to go to at least one Rock for Love event, if the event returns.

Memphis duo “Me & Leah”.

If you’re not familiar with the Church Health Center, they provide affordable healthcare to working Memphians, including working musicians.  Rock for Love is their biggest annual fundraiser.

Rock for Love is normally in early September.

I write about what’s going on with Memphis music, food, arts, events, sports, people, and culture. Memphians love Elvis and barbeque with a passion that must be seen to be believed, but there is so much more to this place.
