Every summer, hundreds of people flock to the giant lawn in the middle of the Memphis Botanic Garden for the annual Live at the Garden concert series. The shows are a giant garden party combined with a picnic (you're allowed to bring in your own food and booze) and a big concert.

The bands are usually crowd-pleasing favorites like Duran Duran, the B-52s and Al Green, and the crowd is decidedly adult. There are a handful of reserved tables in front of the stage, but the lawn (where tickets are less expensive) turns into mass picnic / dance party. Some people go all out with their dress and food spreads, others keep it super casual with lawn chairs, blankets and take-out.

Check out this year's lineup here.
