Try A Taste of Locally Sourced Comedy

If you're looking for something different to do this weekend after the fires of BBQ fest have begun to fade, I have just the thing. Also, I know y'all love the super local, and this show combines both local talent and delicious local food.

Blacksmith Comedy will host the Locally Sourced Comedy standup show this Saturday night May 20 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Midtown Crossing Grill and, drumroll please...it's free! The lineup features local comics Christine Marie, Will Loden, Sammy Azner, Hunter Sandlin, Cole Bradley, Kyle Kordsmeier, and Benny Elbows.

There's limited seating, so be sure to get there early/on time and grab a pizza and bucket of PBRs and settle in. The show is 21+ so you won't have to worry about people bringing babies to the bar, either.

The pizza at Midtown Crossing Grill is definitely a contender for one of the best in town, if you like that kind of thin but not crackery crust. I'm a fan.

Also, be sure to follow Blacksmith Comedy on Facebook to keep up with their upcoming shows, most of which are super affordable ways to enjoy the Memphis comedy scene.
