Eat At Downtown's Historic Front Street Deli

Front Street Deli reopened Monday under new management, with a totally new look and new menu. My pal Allie Mounce recently stopped by and sent me these photos that I wanted to go ahead and share with you.

Fun facts about Front Street Deli: The building was erected in 1853, and it was part of the Memphis filming locations for The Firm in 1993.

As for the future of this Deli (conveniently located at the corner of Front and Union) they're going to focus on sandwiches and salads for lunch and dinner. They're going to deliver and - get this - they're going to deliver beer. They're also apparently going to have a kiosk at Raiford's for late night sandwich deliveries. Genius.

This is the "Mission Impossible".
Inside has been swankified.

Please note that all of the sandwiches are named after Tom Cruise movies and all the salad are named after his ex-wives.

As for hours of operation, that's the million dollar question, but I'll be sure to let you all know as soon as possible. Lunchtime on weekdays is a safe bet.
