2017 Live At The Garden Lineup Announced

Every summer, hundreds of people flock to the giant lawn in the middle of the Memphis Botanic Garden for the annual Live at the Garden concert series. The shows are a giant garden party combined with a picnic (you’re allowed to bring in your own food and booze) and a big concert.

Here’s the 2017 Live at the Garden lineup.

June 23 – Little Big Town

July 1 – Boston

August 11 – St. Paul & the Broken Bones + Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors

August 26 – Seal

September 15 – Steve Miller Band

The bands are usually crowd-pleasing/old-school favorites, and the crowd is decidedly adult. There are a handful of reserved tables in front of the stage, then there are some big tents, then the lawn (where tickets are less expensive). The view from this lawn area can be kind of limited due to placement, but it’s still a massive fun picnic/dance party.

Some people go all out with their dress and food spreads, others keep it super casual with lawn chairs, blankets and take-out.

Gates open at 6 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. and shows begin at 8 p.m. or 8:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com.

I write about what’s going on with Memphis music, food, arts, events, sports, people, and culture. Memphians love Elvis and barbeque with a passion that must be seen to be believed, but there is so much more to this place.

    Good evening.

I have experienced “Live At The Garden” a few times and LOVED it.
How do you pick and choose who will be in the line-up?

    Thank you,
