Loosen your belts Memphians, because there’s another food festival happening soon. On Saturday, March 26, head to the Cook Convention Center downtown for the Great River Indoor Food Truck Festival.

They’ll have about fourteen local food trucks set up inside, live music, a craft beer garden, and crafts market. The proceeds benefit Hospitality Hub, a downtown organization that “connects individuals with the resources they need to begin their journey out of homelessness”.

The Great River Indoor Food Truck Fest is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the $5 ticket includes free parking in the garage at the Cook Convention Center. Kids 10 and under are free. Buy tickets here or at the door.

So far, they’ve announced one truck: Stick ‘Em. I’ll keep this updated with more announcements.

Live music lineup:
WISEWATER
Atistik Approach
Deering and Down
Mason Jar Fireflies
peter Hyrka & The Gypsy Hombres
Blind Mississippi Morris
Memphis Ukulele Band
The Southside Supper Club

Ed Note: Don’t confuse this with the Mid-South Food Truck Festival (find out all the details about that here) which is on May 7, 2016 at Tiger Lane. They’re going to be very different events and both worth attending.

I write about what’s going on with Memphis music, food, arts, events, sports, people, and culture. Memphians love Elvis and barbeque with a passion that must be seen to be believed, but there is so much more to this place.
