ATTN Students and Interns: Get Connected With The Summer Experience

Fun fact about me: the first summer I lived in Memphis (between my sohpomore and junior years at The University of Memphis) I lived in an apartment in East Memphis and worked at the Macaroni Grill. Yes, the one that burned down. While I was already well on my way to falling in love with this town, I would have loved a program specifically for people in my position at the time: college students interning or working in Memphis who wanted to learn more.

Luckily for students these days, the New Memphis Institue has a completely free program going on all summer long: The Summer Experience.

The Summer Experience kicked off earlier this week, but there are still seven events left and plenty of time to register. If you're a grad student, recent grad, or college student working or interning in Memphis this summer (including if you're from Memphis), go here to sign up. Each event is free, but an RSVP is required. Questions? Email [email protected].
