Coming To Robert Church Park: Africa In April 2015
Every year, Memphians gather in Robert Church Park (just east of FedExForum) to celebrate African culture with a festival of food, music, demonstrations, arts and crafts, and more. This year's Africa in April honored country is the Republic of Gabon. The festival is daily April 17 to April 19.

You can expect a ton of arts, crafts, and food vendors, live music every day, a parade, and other entertainment and education demonstrations.
Here's the schedule and ticket prices:
- Friday, April 17 is International Children and Senior Citizens Day, and admission is free from 8 a.m. to midnight. There will be a Diversity Parade at 10 a.m.
- Saturday, April 18, 2015 is International Family Health Wellness and Community Day. Admission is $5 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and $10 from 5 p.m. to midnight.
- Sunday is International African American Music Day featuring gospel, jazz and reggae. Admission is $5 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
