Broad Avenue Fall Art Walk is Tomorrow

Broad Avenue Fall Art Walk is Tomorrow

The Broad Avenue Fall Art Walk this Friday night is going to be the biggest yet, with about 70 local artists. All the studios, galleries, and businesses will be open, and there will be plenty of music and dance performances.

Events on Broad Avenue are versatile; you can wander, you can eat, you can mingle, and you can shop. Opera Memphis is performing, along with a handful of other Memphis favorites like Devil Train (on the Water Tower Stage) and Might Souls Brass Band (at the Cove). That's just a sampling, the full schedule is here.

Beer and wine will be for sale on the street and proceeds from that go to the Hampline campaign, which is the bike lane that will connect Shelby Farms Greenline to Overton Park.

The Art Walk goes on this Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. There's no entry fee, though of course you'll need to pay for any food, drink, or items that you purchase. All ages are welcome; there will be kids' activities at the Hampline booth, Three Angels Diner, and Ronin Studios. The sidewalks, market area, and most businesesses are ADA accessible, though some of the businesses have high thresholds that require a step up.
