I write about what’s going on with Memphis music, food, arts, events, sports, people, and culture. Memphians love Elvis and barbeque with a passion that must be seen to be believed, but there is so much more to this place.

Saw the Opus One performance featuring John Gary Williams and Percy Wiggins.  Way to go ! I and my classmates from BTW were there in support.  Keep up the good work.  Congrats to MSO for adding Joseph Nelson to their staff.  He knows his music and will be a real asset.

I also saw Craig Brewer in the crowd.  He helped me to my car.  What a nice fellow.  He's done alot to put Memphis on the map.

I will be there on Oct. 6th to see Ms. Thomas.
