Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the past month, Memphis' coolest (and probably youngest) soul band - made up of recent Stax Music Academy graduates -  has been playing afternoon shows at B.B. King's on Beale.

I sent photographer (and newly minted Memphian) Konrad Dwojak to check the the first-ever Stax Alumni Band.

If you'd like to see the Stax Alumni Band in action, you can for sure catch them on Friday, June 28. Hopefully, they'll continue to play through the rest of the summer, but it hasn't been finalized.
