Chances are, if you yell "Opa!" at this weekend's Greek Festival, at least 30 people will yell it back. Here's a look inside the festival, which celebrates Memphis' sizeable Greek Orthodox community.

You can buy pastries inside individually or by the box. I recommend getting a mixed box and taking it home with you.

If you need a break from all of the dancing / drinking / music / eating, or, if you just want to see something very cool, go inside and take a tour of the church's sanctuary (definitely the calmest spot at the festival).

Make a small donation and light a candle outside of the sanctuary.

The outside food tent is selling a la carte snacks - spanikopita, Greek pizza, slouvaki, baklava sundaes (ice cream topped with baklava). There's also a tavern selling beer, wine, and flaming cheese.

There's also a market in the outside tent selling all kinds of Greek goodness: vases, clothing, jewelry, Greek flags, fisherman hats.

There's a second food line inside that sells plate dinners (an entree and two sides) and pastries. This year's menu has all of the festival classics plus a few new items.

There's a live band in the outdoor tent and plenty of space for dancing If circular dances are your thing, they festival crew has helpfully taped off a circle in the middle of the dancefloor.

Where should I park? Wherever you can find space. When I was there, it looked like parking was allowed at Victory University, but you may have to park on a residential side street.
