One of my favorite Christmas traditions (really, one of my only Christmas traditions) is driving around town, checking out other people's Christmas lights. I'm not talking about professional displays like Starry Nights, which is impressive for sure, but not free. I'm talking about neighborhoods where people do their best Clark Griswold impersonations and go all out with twinkling, plastic lit-from-within holiday cheer.
(It's hard to take good pictures of Christmas lights, especially when they're blinking.)
I put together a little map of some neighborhoods that are perfect for Christmas light rides. These aren't the only great neigborhoods, for sure, but each of these areas has a decently high concentration of decoration. If you know of other great areas, please leave them in the comments so other people can find them.
