This is What Amy LaVere Would Have Sounded Like During the Depression

This is cool: director Alex Steyermark is traveling around the country recording modern musicians using a single michrophone and a 1930s PRESTO direct-to-disc recorder. It's called the 78 Project, and it's already featured two Memphis musicians, Valerie June and Amy LaVere.
