365 Things to Do in Memphis #216: Find a Tiny Art Project
Memphis has a lot of big pieces of public art, but it's the little ones that fascinate me the most. Assignment #216 in the 365 Things to Do in Memphis is to find a tiny art project. Like one of these:
Where are your favorites?

9:35 am
The beaver with a red balloon under the Ridgeway Loop. I was just studying that one yesterday!
10:40 am
I’ve seen pictures of that one, but I haven’t seen it in person yet. Is it near the sushi gas station?
11:44 am
Is it a beaver? I thought it was a squirrel. There are actually two that I've seen so far. They are identical. One is on the car wash outbuilding on the recently-closed Mapco Express at the southeast corner of Poplar and White Station. The other is on the east side wall of the underpass that leads under west-bound Poplar. Turn left towards the Hilton or Ridgeway Four Cinema off of Poplar and you will pass it on yoru right side.
6:23 pm
It is a squirrel! Ive seen one at the walnutgrove, germantown rd overpass and 1 on the glass at Freewhellin Franks
11:09 am
It's before the sushi gas station. The overpass across from the Target there. That's my favorite now too.
5:44 pm
Ive seen a raccoon friend thats been hanging around with tha squirrel!
9:19 pm
Ive seen an awesome one down on SouthMain!
8:57 pm
I’ve noticed the squirrels are getting marked thru by some cat named 42. Wonder why he would deface someone else’s art?
