It's summer, but there's a snowball in my cup.
I stopped at Urban Farms Market on my way home from a meeting to get a scoop of Mama D's Italian Ice. The texture is that of a perfectly packed snowball, walking a line between snow cone and ice cream. It costs $1 per scoop, and they usually have two flavors (today, it was coconut and strawberry lemonade).

You can get Mama D's at High Point Pizza as well, it's so good!

Mama D's is also at the Botanic Garden market on Wednesdays and the Agricenter, Cooper-Young and downtown markets on Saturdays, among others (if you come to the Agricenter it might just be me serving you! yay!).
