Memphis Symphony Orchestra at Memphis International Airport

(Those are members of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra playing at Memphis International Airport on Friday, March 30.)

- First, we've got some birthdays this week. Everybody break out your party hats and celebrate Restaurant Iris' fourth birthday and Central Barbecue's 10th birthday. Here's to many more!

- Attention, train enthusiasts - the Memphis Railroad and Trolley Museum is now open in Central Station. The museum has local railroad artifacts, history and elaborate model trains.

- Mayor Wharton loves Overton Square (and really, who doesn't?). Check out his reasons why on MemphisConnect.

- Finally, here are a few special downtown deals: the Blind Bear is offering buy-one-get-one appetizers and the National Ornamental Metal Museum is offering two-for-one admission.
