Assignment #69 in the 365 Things to Do in Memphis is to round up your lady friends and go to the 20th annual Southern Women's Show at the Agricenter.

The entire Agricenter has been taken over with the lady-centric trade show. During the three-day show, vendors sell everything from clothing and jewelry to make-up, toys, food and household appliances. There are cooking demonstrations (including an auditorium dedicated solely to celebrity cooking demonstrations).

Between shopping stops, you can check out fashion shows featuring clothing from local retailers, relax at an oxygen bar, get a makeover and talk to vendors who are selling everything from dream weddings to "fun parties". For those of you who don't want to miss any of this weekend's basketball, there's an area with couches and TVs tuned to the conference championships.

Pro tip: hit up the kitchen and cooking booths for free samples.

The annual Southern Women's Show is in Memphis this weekend. Individual adult tickets are $10 at the door. If you want to return for a second day, save your stub and you can get entry for half price.
