Happy leap day! Spend your bonus day completing assignment #60 in the 365 Things to Do in Memphis: jump around at Memphis' inflatable playground.

Bouncing at Pump It Up, Memphis, Tenn.

When I was a kid, bounce castles were always the highlight of birthday parties and school field days. As an adult, I'm glad to know that Pump It Up exists. It's an indoor inflatable playground in Bartlett (and you don't have to be a kid to play).

Pump It Up has two rooms of huge inflatable tunnels, wide slides, climbing areas and octagonal "rooms" for bouncing. Be sure to bring socks – you have to take your shoes off before you bounce. Also – if you're an adult, know that bouncing is a lot more exhausting than you remember it being.

Though Pump It Up is a pretty popular place for kids' birthday parties, they'll also host corporate retreats (*Ahem, boss*), and special events. You can also drop in for their Pop-In Playtime – regularly scheduled hours of unstructured, individual bouncing. Know though, that some Pop-In Playtimes are restricted by age.
