365 Things to Do in Memphis #57: Celebrate Johnny Cash’s Birthday

Day 57 of the 365 Things to Do in Memphis happens to fall on Feb. 26, Johnny Cash's birthday. He would have turned 80 this year. Your assignment is to celebrate.

You could do it by listening to your favorite Cash record (I busted out my Sun Records 45 of "Walk the Line"). You could watch the Cash biopic "Walk the Line" (large portions of the movie were filmed locally).

If you're in Memphis, you could drive past the apartment building where he lived while he was recording at Sun. You could always raise a glass and dress in all black.
