365 Things to Do in Memphis, #22: Irish Brunch
It might seem a wee bit crazy to suggest that you sit on a porch on a Sunday morning in January, but I'm going to do it anyway. Assignment #22 is to have an Irish brunch at Celtic Crossing.
I recommend sitting on the porch because it's the best place to listen to the five-piece band play traditional Irish music while you eat a moy omelet and drink mimosas. The band starts around noon and plays until about 3 p.m., and if you're lucky, Harry (the wonderfully mustachioed drummer) will come say hi to you.
Don't worry about the cold – in the winter, the porch is enclosed in plastic to keep the wind out, and the staff fires up giant outdoor heaters.
