New Memphis-Based iPhone App of The Week

New Memphis-Based iPhone App of The Week

For the past few months, the Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau (aka, the place where I work) has been working on an iPhone app that makes it easy to find all of the great things in Memphis. I'm really excited to announce that it's finally done. Memphis Travel iPhone App The app features an event calendar loaded with things to do, coupons and deals for local businesses and a map that shows you which restaurants, attractions and events are near you. iPhone App Map What I like most about it is that while the app is useful for visitors, it's even better for locals (especially ones who are visiting a neighborhood for the first time). Also - you can read I Love Memphis on it, and it looks much better than the mobile site. I Love Memphis on the Memphis Travel App We've worked really hard on the app, and I hope you like it. If you do (or if you experience any problems with it), please let me know so that we can get them fixed. Best of all, the app is free. Get it here.

Is the Android version available somewhere? You mentioned it in the post but that link is only for the iTunes version and I don't see it on the Android market.

I fixed the post. I don't think the android version is ready yet. Be patient - I'm sure it's going to be equally awesome.

You mention iPhone AND Android. The "Get it here" link takes you to the iPhone app. I can't find it on Android Marketplace. Is it currently available on Android and, if not, when will it be? Thanks.

The Andriod app is coming soon. I took it out of the post for now, but look for it in the next few weeks.
