Give Them Five: the 2011 Rock For Love Preview
Give Them Five: the 2011 Rock For Love Preview
It's almost time for one of my favorite annual good-mood-inducing events: Rock for Love.
Far from a little benefit show, the fifth annual Rock for Love borders on full-fledged music festival - it lasts for four days and takes over several venues. This year, 25 musicians, bands and DJs are donating their performances to raise money for the Church Health Center.
Church Health Center provides affordable health insurance to working Memphians, including working musicians. They also run a fitness center and weekly farmer's market. Rock for Love is their biggest annual fundraiser.
