Win a Valentine's Day Date, Get Out of School Early and Meet Memphian #38

365 Memphians, day 38: Bob Hazlett

Everybody, meet my boss, Bob Hazlett. As the online director for the Memphis Convention and Visitor's Bureau, he's saddled with the thankless task of wrangling me (as well as all of the CVB's other online initiatives). He's really good at it, though.

In other news:

- It's snowing in Memphis today (again). As a result, Memphis City and Shelby County schools will close two hours early today. DeSoto County schools are already closed.

- The Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau is giving away a sweet Memphis Valentine's Day date for Saturday, Feb. 12. The package includes a night at the Westin, two tickets to the Memphis Symphony Orchestra's "In the Mood" concert and a box of Dinstuhl's chocolates. The winner will be chosen tomorrow. To enter, go here.

- If you're not afraid of a little weather and want something to do tonight, Snoop Dogg is playing at Minglewood, Modern Convenience is at the Hi-Tone and it's trivia night at Local Gastropub downtown.
