Three Courses on the Cheap During Downtown Dining Week

Downtown Dining Week is the best week to try new restaurants downtown, especially if you've ever been reluctant to eat somewhere because of the price.

Downtown Dining Week

From November 15 - 21st, 19 downtown restaurants will offer three-course dinners for $20.10 (not including tip and drink). Participating restaurants will offer a limited menu (most have 2-3 options per course) for the week.

Here are a few of the dinners that I'm most excited about trying:

South of Beale's menu has both the fantastic pumpkin ravioli and their incredibly rich (and completely insane) beer pretzel cheesecake from their Fall menu.

Four-Diamond award winner Chez Philippe is on the list of participating restaurants. It's arguably Memphis' swankiest restaurant, so everything they've got on their menu is sure to be incredible.

The Inn at Hunt Phelan's braised short ribs with mashed potatoes, creamed spinach gratin, and Fall squash sounds amazing.

I've also heard amazing things about the peppermint patty that's being offered on Felicia Suzanne's menu during downtown dining week.

This year, five restaurants are offering two dinners for $20.10 (not including tip and drinks). The meals are only two courses. You can feed two people for the price of one at Kooky Canuck, Rendezvous, Lenny's, Westy's and Onix.

Plan ahead and check out all of the Downtown Dining Week menus in advance. Take note - some of the participating restaurants (like the Inn at Hunt Phelan) require reservations in advance.
