In other news:

- While I was eating at Fuego Maya's on Saturday, I was delighted to see that they're going to have karaoke on Friday nights. I'm not sure if it's going to be in English or Spanish, but who cares - there's nowhere else in town where you can fulfill both your need for tacos and microphone-based public humiliation (or glory, depending).

- The Majestic Grill is going to be selling $50 gift cards for $25 on Wednesday, December 1st. The sale lasts from 9 a.m. until they run out of cards.

- Stacey has the most adorable picture of Harlan T. Bobo ever in her post about this past weekend's Rock'n'Romp. If you missed Harlan at Rock'n'Romp, he's playing at the Hi-Tone on Thursday and Friday nights with the Memphis Symphony as part of their Opus One series.

Techincally, you can get your taco & karaoke mix (along with alcohol, and some line dancing) at Margaritas in West Memphis on weekends. Don't ask me how I know this.
