In other news:
- It's a tough time for bookstores. To add to the list, the English Major bookstore in midtown is closing. The tiny used bookshop next to the Lamplighter is having a going out of business sale until Nov. 30th, Tuesday - Thursday from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
- Tickets are on sale for the Winter Warmer beer tasting at Central Station on January 15th. The tickets are $33, and there are 800 available. Your ticket gets you samples from an impressive list of local and commercial brewers.
- Bring your skateboards, roller skates and bikes to the New Face for an Old Broad event this weekend - Skatelife Memphis is setting up a temporary skate park, and there will be bike lanes on the street.
