Random Baking Supplies of the Week
I like cake, I like pie. I don’t like having to choose between them.
A few days ago, I found a recipe for cupakes with miniature pumpkin pies baked into them. I know that putting a tiny pie inside of a tiny cake sounds a little extreme, but it’s the perfect solution to the cake vs. pie decision.
Plus, I had to find a treat worthy of those awesome cupcake papers. Kellie Jones Sutton, the owner of Sutton Gourmet Paper, sent them to me a few weeks ago, and I’ve been waiting for the perfect excuse to use them. They’re made locally in Memphis (Kellie runs the business out of her house), and they look just as nice after baking as they do before.
Kellie was kind enough to send me a package of her red damask liners to give away to one of you. To enter, all you have to do is comment on this post. I’ll choose a winner tomorrow morning at 9 a.m.
