Indie Clothing Company Sache Keeps it In-House
You’ll have to excuse the guys at Sache if they seem a little tired at tonight’s trolley tour. The brand new clothing shop had more than 200 people at their grand opening last night, and the designers are still trying to recover.
The store, which opened just a few days ago, is the perfect addition to the South Main Arts District. All of their super soft t-shirts and hoodies are designed and printed in-house and displayed in gallery-style in their airy shop.
Most of the designs are by Eric Evans, a former graffiti artist and photographer (he shoots all of the company’s ads). The designs range from logo tees and tanks to Renaissance-inspired prints. Right now, they’re selling a dip dyed shirt to raise money for environmental preservation on the Gulf Coast.
Though most of Sache’s pieces are made of buttery soft jersey fabric, there’s nothing slacker about them. Their printed, cut tees wouldn’t be out of place at a party. They also carry a line of jewelry (which is displayed in a huge wall case) and bags. For those of you with stylish little ones, some of their shirts are printed in kids’ sizes.
I highly recommend stopping by tonight if you’re out at Trolley Tour. Say hi, grab a drink and welcome them to the neighborhood.
