I decided to wear my brand new "I need more haters" t-shirt from Memphis designer Davine Prodigy today. I don't actually nee more haters, but if you do, you can pick one up from his online shop for $20.  (If you live in Memphis, he'll even bring it to you so you can avoid shipping costs.)

In other news:

- There's a casting call for extras for a movie called "Losers Take All". They need people of all ethnicities between ages 18 and 35. The movie is a comedy about a fictional indie band in the 1980s that sells out. It's going to be shot in Memphis. If you want your 15 minutes of fame, email the casting director for more information.

- In Elvis Week news, tonight's main event is the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist contest semifinals at the Orpheum. It starts at 7 p.m., and tickets are $27. If you're out and about this week, and you want to get a little closer to Elvis, download the King Me iPhone app. It was created by Memphians and has info about Elvis' favorite spots, photos, links and more.

- It's almost the most wonderful time of the year. The Cooper Young Festival music line-up has been announced. Seventeen bands (like The One Four Fives, Jack O and the Tennessee Tearjerkers and the Limes) are playing on three stages during the one-day festival. The Cooper Young Festival is on Saturday, September 18.
