The Mayor's Tent, a Closing, and a Reason to Have Dessert
The Mayor's Tent, a Closing, and a Reason to Have Dessert
A sign hanging off the back of one of the tents at Barbecue Fest let's everyone know that their tent is a private party. (Typically, the mayor's tent is open to the public.)
In other news:
- All good things must come to an end, I suppose. I'm sad to report that Lux boutique in Cooper Young will be closing sometime in June. The closure is as a result of the economy and the owner feeling like it's time to move on. Currently, all of their clothing and accessories are 30% off.
- For the entire month of May, Fuel Cafe on Madison is selling brownies to raise money for the Memphis Gay and Lesbian Community Center. This is one of those times when it's totally fine to say yes to dessert.
