Flipside Memphis: Fire Tribe

Flipside Memphis: Fire Tribe

The Fire Tribe is a group of eight performers, belly dancers, drummers, and spotters that put on dazzling shows with dance, music, and fire. They spin poi (firey balls on chains), dance with flaming hoops, and eat fire.

Group member Nadia Sophia started dancing with poi in 2008 because it appealed to her martial arts background. "It was easy to fall in love with something like fire," she said. The group practices on the rooftop of their downtown studio. During the summer, they perform 1-2 times per week at corporate parties, festivals, fundraisers, and private events.

I am trying to get a price quote for a 20 minute performance at a church in Memphis on Aug 7, 2013.  We are doing a Hawiian themed party.  The performance would start at approximately 7:30 pm with fire and/or hula, etc.  Please let me know if you need any additional information.
