Out of Circulation, Into Second Editions

I stopped by Second Editions bookstore yesterday at the recommendation of  of Elizabeth Alley, who had just scored a massive world atlas there for $6. And since I’m a big book nerd, that’s all I needed to hear.

Second Editions is located just inside the Benjamin L. Hooks main library. They sell books, magazines and records that have been taken out of library circulation.

I was surprised by the selection at Second Editions – there are a lot of recent releases and  bestsellers on the stacks. They’ve got several shelves of hardcover and paperback fiction (with most titles priced around $3). There are also plenty of children’s books, non-fiction books, coffee table books and reference books.
