Memphis Roller Derby Needs Your Help
Memphis Roller Derby Needs Your Help
With the new plans for the Fairgrounds in progress, Memphis Roller Derby is on the move. The league has been practicing in the Youth Building at the Fairgrounds for the past two years.
Funquest in Collierville has been kind enough to offer us a temporary practice and bout space, but the league is still looking for a forever home. Ideally, that forever home would have 12,000 - 15,000 feet of pole-free space with a concrete, wood or sport court floor. If you know of anywhere that fits the bill, please let the league know.
The league's last scrimmage is at the Fairgrounds tonight.

I am confused. Why do you have a photo of Skateland if you can't skate there? Is there fire damage beyond fixing or what?
Sorry if this is an obvious question. :)

There's a glass company using the space now. I just happened to be out that way, so I snapped a picture.

What's going on at the old East End skating center? Or the one over by Stage Stop?
I am surely showing my age with these ideas. Whoa.
