Found: Capote
For you, one Capote cupcake from Muddy’s Bakeshop. It’s got chocolate cake on the bottom and vanilla buttercream icing on the top, and yes, it’s just as delicious as it looks.
Actually, everything at Muddy’s is delicious. I have yet to have a cupcake or cookie or slice of pie that doesn’t taste amazing.Ok, so all of the cookies don’t look perfect, and the icing isn’t exact, but that just adds to the charm.
Walking in the door, the first thing you’ll notice is how absolutely adorable everything in the shop is. From the cupcakes to the furniture to the aprons for sale and the employees, every single thing in the store is insanely quirky and cute.
Muddy’s is located in a shopping center in East Memphis, which seems a little strange. The shop seems like it should be in Midtown. It’s probably good that it’s centrally located – they’re an equidistant baked goods provider.
